LOC conferences are opportunities for city officials to learn best practices, network with peers and industry leaders, and take back new ideas to enhance their communities.

Annual Conference

The LOC's premier event, the Annual Conference is held in the fall and is the largest gathering of municipal officials each year in Oregon.  The program typically includes 30+ breakout sessions, day-long seminars, workshops, tours, 60+ vendor trade show and plenty of time for networking.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the 96th Annual Conference, scheduled for October 21-23, 2021 at the Riverhouse Convention Center in Bend, has been canceled.  The LOC Annual Membership Meeting will be held virtually on October 22 at 11:45 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.  More information available at the link below.

Local Government Spring Conference

The Local Government Spring Conference is a one-day conference held each April.  Hosted in a different part of the state each year, the conference program is specifically created to include topics important to that region.

Affiliate Organizations' Conferences

Several of the LOC’s affiliate organizations including the Oregon Mayors Association and the Oregon City/County Management Association host conferences throughout the year which attract many LOC members.
