LOC Training
LOC staff and outside experts have designed training to fit your needs – whether you are brand new to office or a long-term city manager.
The LOC provides training to both elected city officials and city staff on a variety of core and specialized topics. Trainings are scheduled throughout the year in a variety of locations across the state and many are free of charge to LOC members.
Request a Training in Your Area
Perhaps you want to offer training to just your staff, or maybe there aren’t any trainings scheduled in your region. The LOC will work with you to find a time and location that fits your schedule.
If you wish to receive training not currently listed or would like to see something designed specifically for your city, the LOC will work with you to find a trainer who can develop a training to meet your needs.
