The City of Sequim is seeking an experienced GIS/Data Administrator to join our dynamic IT Team. The GIS/Data Administrator is responsible for the technical management and maintenance of the City’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and spatial data analytics. Under the general supervision of the Information Technology Director, this position is responsible for maintaining citywide GIS databases and leveraging data analytics tools to support policy development, planning, and operational decision-making across departments. The GIS/Data Administrator collaborates with City departments to help create workflows for utility management, land use, and infrastructure planning, while also providing training and end-user support. This position engages the public through interactive GIS-based communication tools and harnesses emerging technologies, including AI-enhanced GIS and data visualization platforms.
