The LOC currently has a limited duration opportunity for an attorney interested in municipal law to join our team as a Limited Duration Assistant General Counsel.  Working with the Interim General Counsel, the Assistant General Counsel provides in-house legal services, produces guidance to aid cities, provides assistance to member cities, and supports the LOC’s intergovernmental relations program by reviewing and analyzing legislation. 

This position is a limited duration one-year position that will serve as one of two attorneys in the LOC’s legal department and enables attorneys to gain invaluable hands-on experience in municipal law. The anticipated hiring salary range is $119,572 - $127,084 DOE.  The LOC provides excellent benefits.
