We provide the connections so cities can make a difference.

Services At-a-Glance

The LOC provides numerous services that bring value to municipalities and help city officials better serve their communities.

CIS Insurance

LOC's strong partnership with CIS (Citycounty Insurance Services) provides risk management as well as property, liability, workers' compensation and employee benefits coverage to member cities and counties in Oregon.

HomeServe

The National League of Cities (NLC) Service Line Warranty Program, offered by HomeServe, helps educate property owners about their service line responsibilities and helps residents avoid the out-of-pocket expense for unanticipated and potentially costly service line repairs and replacements. Additionally, the program generates an ongoing, sustainable source of revenue for partner municipalities and stimulates the local economy by using fully vetted local contractors to complete the repairs.

Interim City Staff Candidates

The LOC's Interim City Staff Candidate Listing is a great resource for both employers and job candidates interested in filling interim managerial and department head positions.
