The Junction City Police Department is a 24-hour/365-day-a-year police agency that provides police services to the community. Junction City Police Department currently has 11.5 sworn Officers, and one support position and is looking to grow with the city. Junction City operates a Municipal court for violations and misdemeanor offenses. The Junction City Police Department has tremendous support in the community and offers competitive benefits. Candidate Requirements:
• Possess a valid Oregon Driver’s License before employment.
• Achieve a passing score on the oral-board interview.
• Pass the Chief's "Command" interview.
• Pass an extensive pre-employment background investigation by meeting all agency and state minimum requirements.
• Pass a drug test and medical evaluation.
Salary Range (Per Hour) for FY 25/26:
$24.65 to $28.16
Additional Incentives may be available. These can include but are not limited to 2nd Language and Longevity.
