Apply your public safety knowledge and grow your leadership skills as the Beaverton Police Department’s next Police Records Supervisor. Beaverton Police Department has a unique opening for a Police Records Supervisor to provide supervision and leadership to the 16-person Records Division and assist with program planning, project management, and budgeting.
This is a great growth opportunity for someone with experience and expertise in law enforcement records who is interested in taking on supervisory responsibilities and growing in the field. In addition to providing direct supervision and oversight to Police Records Specialists, the Records Supervisor will have the opportunity to dig into project ranging from data analysis to policy development.
This is a full-time, exempt, Management 2 (M2) position. There is one vacancy.
Minimum qualifications:
High school diploma or GED, and Five years' administrative support experience in an office environment or police records, including One year in a lead or supervisory role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience enabling the incumbent to perform the essential functions of the position.
Licensing and special requirements:
Law Enforcement Data Systems (LEDS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) fingerprints must be completed and cleared prior to start date.
Ability to pass reference checks and education verification and satisfy the requirements of a background check.
Ability to satisfy the requirements of a pre-employment drug screen.
