ARPA Annual Reports Due April 30
Cities should have received notice from the U.S. Department of Treasury that the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) reporting portal has opened for filing of the required annual or quarterly report. The deadline to file for all State and Local Fiscal Recovery Fund (SLFRF) grantees is next Wednesday, April 30, 2025.
What happens after April 30?
If cities do NOT submit a report by April 30, Treasury will be starting a formal recoupment process.
The vast majority of Oregon cities are required to file annually. Reports are cumulative, so cities can update prior reports with more accurate information on expenditures to date.
The LOC is encouraging all cities to file early and avoid any last-minute filing issues. The system can be easily overwhelmed, so cities should make sure they are ready to submit in advance of the last day. Here are some resources to help with reporting:
- Login Portal: https://login.gov/
- Your city should have an account on file from reporting last year and you’ll want to try to use the same account. If you don’t know which email was used to make the account, then call (844) 529-9527 or email SLFRF@treasury.gov.
- NLC FAQ on ARPA funds everything from reporting to guidelines.
Cities can contact the U.S. Treasury’s help centers for State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds at SLFRF@treasury.gov or call (844) 529-9527.
