Updated DSEIS Presentation for Interstate Bridge Replacement Now Available for Review

Last week, Interstate Bridge Replacement (IBR) Program Administrator Greg Johnson, along with the IBR team, presented an update on the Draft Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (DSEIS)  for the project.  The presentation materials can be viewed here.

Once the federal impact statement process is complete and final funding comments are in place, the project will break ground in 2026. To reduce transportation conflicts, the new bridge will be constructed while the existing bridge is in place.

The IBR program published its DSEIS on September 20,  kicking off a 60-day public comment process under the National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA) through November 18.
