LOC’s Elected Officials Demographics Survey Due May 2

Every few years, the LOC sends a survey to its member elected officials to better understand the makeup of those individuals that represent their communities.  The survey linked below asks elected city officials questions about their demographic background.

Given the sensitive nature of the questions, no question is required to be answered. As such, if a respondent is uncomfortable answering a particular question, it can be left blank.   We are asking for members to provide their name and email only to ensure that there are no duplicate responses, and individual responses will not be published in any final report.

The information collected from the survey will be used to better understand potential barriers to participation in local government and to accurately respond to inquiries about such demographic data.

City leaders can complete the survey here. The LOC asks that only elected city officials complete the survey and provide only one response per person.

Special thanks to the 221 city elected officials that have responded so far.
