Watch: LOC Webinar on State ARPA Funded Projects

The LOC hosted a webinar on January 21 with the Oregon Department of Administrative Services (DAS) and Business Oregon.  Our state partners provided information on how local governments will access resources for certain projects the Legislature funded with the state’s share of the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) as outlined in HB 5006, the 2021 session’s Christmas Tree bill.

The projects are also identified in this budget report, and cities can search for their city name by using CTRL+F.

The webinar explained projects in two categories:

  • $240 million in ARPA grants by state legislative districts that will be administered by DAS (see pages 26 to 38 for a list of projects); and
  • Nearly $276 million for drinking water, storm water, and sanitary sewer projects that will be administered by Business Oregon (see pages 43 to 45 for list of projects).

The webinar also covered timing, process, possible pitfalls, reporting requirements, and recipient questions.
