CIS (Citycounty Insurance Services)
Jointly formed by the LOC and the Association of Oregon Counties in 1981, CIS provides risk management as well as property, liability, workers' compensation and employee benefits coverage to member cities and counties in Oregon. Serving 98% of cities and over 78% of counties, CIS helps local governments conserve their human, physical and natural resources against accidental losses. CIS also works closely with local insurance agents to provide expert risk-management support to members.
