The League of Oregon Cities (LOC), the trusted, go-to resource helping Oregon city staff members and elected officials serve their cities, is seeking an experienced leader to serve as our next Legislative Director. The Legislative Director designs and leads the LOC’s non-partisan advocacy efforts and serves as the primary lobbyist for Oregon cities. This role directs the Intergovernmental Relations (IGR) Department, managing a team of five lobbyists who specialize in issue areas ranging from finance and housing to public safety and the environment. 

This is not just a lobbying role – it is a key management position on the LOC’s leadership team. The Legislative Director is responsible for shaping advocacy strategy, guiding an independent and high-performing team, and fostering a collaborative and positive organizational culture.
