Syncurrent Introduces Funding and Collaboration Features

Finding funding for community projects and coordinating grant applications can be challenging for local governments. Syncurrent has introduced two new features, Projects and Network, to help Oregon cities identify funding opportunities and work with external collaborators throughout the application process.

Projects Feature Monitors Funding Opportunities

Looking for funding for a specific need or program? Syncurrent’s new Projects feature finds funding opportunities in the background without requiring manual searches.

Cities can enter what they are trying to fund, such as building a community library or upgrading a water system. Syncurrent then continuously monitors open and forecasted funding opportunities related to that project.

When a matching funding opportunity becomes available, Syncurrent sends an email alert so cities can stay informed.

Network Feature Supports Grant Application Collaboration

Grant applications often require input from multiple people and organizations. Engineers, consultants, and external collaborators may hold technical details and project scopes that help make an application competitive.

Syncurrent’s new Network feature gives local governments a central place to keep collaborators aligned throughout the application process without slowing down the work.

Through the platform, cities can invite collaborators from external organizations, including engineering firms and consultants, to work alongside them on funding applications.

Oregon cities can explore the Network feature and review current grant opportunities through Syncurrent.
