Applications Now Open for Housing Infrastructure Financing Program
The competitive application round for the state’s Housing Infrastructure Financing Program is officially open. Applications are due on or before 11:59 p.m. on December 17.
The purpose of the program is to provide grants, loans and forgivable loans to eligible entities for:
(1) the development or improvement of transportation, water, wastewater or stormwater infrastructure, including improvements to system capacity; or
(2) site development, including the development of privately owned sites, necessary for the improvement of transportation, water, wastewater or stormwater infrastructure.
In addition, the proposed development in (1) or (2) above must primarily support a specified proposed housing development.
