NLC – City Fiscal Conditions Survey – Please Respond by July 12
The National League of Cities (NLC) provided a recent update on response levels across the country for their 2019 City Fiscal Conditions survey. In Oregon, the NLC is hoping to reach a target level of 72 responses, which includes 47 cities with a population less than 10,000, and 25 cities with a population greater than 10,000. Unfortunately, the NLC has only received four responses to date from Oregon. If Oregon is able to reach 72 responses NLC will be able to prepare additional analytical analysis.
The deadline for responding to the survey has been extended to Friday July 12. Cities – please take advantage of this extension and submit your information to the NLC.
This survey data can be very useful for trend assessments and framing policy needs of cities across the country. This is the 34th annual edition of the NLC survey, which began in 1986. Here’s the link to the 2018 study for more detail on the results.
