LOC Joins Other Local Governments in Unified Request to Governor Brown
The LOC is calling on Governor Kate Brown to help local governments meet their budget development needs under the current “Stay Home, Stay Safe” guidance.
The LOC has joined other local government organizations with a unified message to include temporary relief from public meeting requirements, state budget law, and the 120-day land use decision clock.
The League represents 241 cities across Oregon and not all have resources that match with developing budgets under existing statutes. These cities need relief so they can focus on public health and safety.
