LOC Webinar: Talking About Local Revenue - Messaging and Tools
Join the LOC for an upcoming webinar designed to help members prepare for important conversations in their communities.
Cities across Oregon are facing revenue challenges stemming from an outdated and complex property tax system. In this training, Mike Westling, Director of Strategic Communications for Espousal Strategies, will introduce messaging and communication tools developed for LOC members to use when talking with their communities.
Participants will learn how to clearly explain the structural challenges, connect them to the local services resident’s care about, and build public understanding of the need for statewide reform. These resources are designed to work for cities of all sizes in both urban and rural communities across Oregon.
