Mayors Recognized for Leadership
The 2019 Mayors Leadership Awards were presented during the closing banquet of the Oregon Mayors Association (OMA) Summer Conference, held August 1-3, 2019 in Medford. The following mayors were recognized:
- Elgin Mayor Allan Duffy won in the small city category.
- King City Mayor Ken Gibson won in the medium city category.
- Cottage Grove Mayor Jeff Gowing won in the large city category.
- Scappoose Mayor Scott Burge received an honorable mention.
The mayors were honored by their peers and the leadership of Oregon’s 242 cities.
