Oregon Opportunity Zones 2.0 Applications Open
Business Oregon is now accepting nomination applications for Oregon’s Opportunity Zone 2.0 program. The application period is now through May 22.
Designed to unlock long-term investment in communities that need it most, the program builds on the success of the state’s original Opportunity Zone initiative. This updated program offers enhanced incentives and transparency to ensure that private capital drives real, measurable improvements in housing, jobs, and infrastructure across the state.
Business Oregon partners with local governments and stakeholders to identify eligible census tracts, guide investors, and ensure projects align with statewide economic development priorities.
Cities are encouraged to review the program and determine if Opportunity Zones can support your community’s needs. The next office hours will take place on April 23 from 1-2 p.m., and registration for the online discussion is available here.
