OSHA Compliance Resources Available
For cities working to meet COVID-19 infectious disease workplace safety regulations, forms, templates and guidance are now available from CIS, the State Accident Insurance Fund (SAIF) and the Oregon Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
Cities that purchase their workers compensation coverage from CIS should have received templates for infection control plans and risk assessments and can access this information through their member portal. All employers, regardless of how they provide their workers compensation coverage, may find this article from “Real-Time Risk,” a CIS publication, a useful guide as they work on compliance.
Employers who purchase coverage from SAIF, or are self-insured, may access an infection control plan and risk assessment templates through the Oregon Department of Administrative Services COVID-19 page.
Employers wishing to consult OSHA directly, or view guidance and resources produced by the agency, may access those resources here.
Cities are reminded that infectious disease control plans and risk assessments are required to be completed on December 7.
