Register Today: 2026 OLLG Fall Conference
Sessions Announced!
The 2026 OLLG Fall Conference is taking shape, and we are excited to share a preview of the sessions focused on civic engagement, leadership, mental health, and well-being.
- Voting Rights, Civic Participation & Community Engagement
Debbie Cabrales will share insights on the importance of voting rights and civic participation, highlighting how community engagement strengthens local democracy. Drawing from her experience as a member of the Woodburn City Council and her current role as Executive Director of Centro de Servicios para Campesinos, Debbie brings a unique perspective on civic leadership, advocacy, and empowering communities to make their voices heard.
- Mental Health & Well-Being
We are also excited to welcome Alexandria Alvarez from the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) for a conference session focused on mental health and well-being.
Networking Lunch & Photo Booth
Come for the learning, stay for the connections and fun! During the Networking Lunch, take time to connect with fellow OLLG members, meet new colleagues, and catch up with familiar faces. And don’t forget to stop by the photo booth! Grab your friends and colleagues, strike a pose, and capture a fun memory from the 2026 OLLG Fall Conference.
- Impostor syndrome, our worst enemy
Through interactive activities, reflection, and open dialogue, we will create ways to connect, relate, and overcome this barrier. In this session we will explore impostor syndrome through the Latino experience, pressures we face, “proving” ourselves, and at times the feeling of needing to leave parts of ourselves behind in order to succeed.
- Project Leadership and Unwritten Rules
Participants will explore foundational approaches, tools, and resources to help navigate the many variables involved in project management.
