Scholarships Open for City Day at the Capitol
The LOC and the LOC Foundation are offering scholarships to help city officials (elected and appointed) attend “City Day at the Capitol,” scheduled for January 26, 2027, in Salem. This event provides an opportunity to stand alongside fellow local leaders in support of the LOC’s advocacy efforts and to share with legislators how their decisions impact local communities and the challenges cities face. By coming together, mayors, city councilors, and city staff from all corners of the state will help advance the LOC’s “Thriving Communities” legislative agenda.
Scholarship applicants can request coverage for event-related expenses beyond the cost of registration. Including lodging and travel expenses.
Available funds will be shared among scholarship recipients who would otherwise be unable to attend the conference.
Please fill out this linked survey to complete the scholarship application today! Applications are open until 5 p.m. on November 2.
