2025 Utility and Franchise Fee Survey Due Today
The League needs your help – This survey has been extended until today. This critical information is needed from cities of all sizes and from regions across the state.
For the past 20 years, the LOC has collected data on franchise agreements surveys its members complete every three years. Information from this survey is crucial to understanding revenue sources in Oregon cities and our ability to forecast future revenue trends. The insight from this information is vital to discern the trajectory of city revenue and to inform LOC policy. The survey asks a series of questions associated with city franchise agreements. Cities provide their most recent rates for telecommunication and cable franchises. Additional questions center around other franchise agreements - electricity, water, garbage, and franchises to other governments.
