LOC Announces Collaboration with SGR

The LOC is proud to announce an exciting collaboration with Strategic Government Resources (SGR), an organization focused on helping local governments become more successful by recruiting, assessing, and developing innovative, collaborative, authentic leaders.

Through this collaboration, the LOC will begin co-hosting SGR’s Servant Leader’s Resource Library (SLRL), bringing first-rate training to LOC members via webinars, presentations, executive book briefings and more. Exclusive to SLRL subscribers, LOC members will be able to utilize content such as Crisis Ready Leadership, Resiliency in Chaos, Fear: Tame the Tension, Managing Change and Transitions, and so much more, with new content being added regularly. The cost is only $250 per year for unlimited access for ALL of your employees.

Additionally, the LOC will be working with SGR to develop an annual training calendar of learning events that will provide virtual classes on a variety of relevant and poignant topics, offered weekly. Class topics will be focused to deliver what is needed most to serve our Oregon cities- including regular management-level content- offered live. Cost is only $29 per class.

Finally, the LOC will be co-hosting SGR’s 2021 annual Servant Leadership Conference, a live two-day virtual event featuring keynote speaker General Jim Mattis and other first-class speakers. The LOC believes that raising up, supporting, and nurturing authentic leaders is more important than ever before, and by co-hosting the SGR 2021 Servant Leadership Conference, we can deliver that to our Oregon cities.
