Transportation Funding Opportunities Now Available
The Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT) has grant applications open now or opening soon. Limited resources are available to support transportation growth planning and projects that reduce emissions.
ODOT is offering $2.5 million in grant funding available for projects in small urban and rural areas of Oregon that reduce greenhouse gas emissions from transportation. This grant opportunity is funded by the federal Carbon Reduction Program. The application process is now open and the deadline is June 30. Review this recent email update from ODOT to learn more.
The 2026 Transportation and Growth Management (TGM) grant application period opens May 26, and applications will be due August 21. There are two categories eligible for funding, transportation system planning and integrated land use and transportation planning, and about $2 million available in this grant cycle. ODOT is hosting a webinar and office hours to answer questions about the application process. Information about the application and informational meetings can be accessed at this link.
