New Funding Opportunity: Housing Planning Assistance Grant Program
The state’s 2025–2027 Housing Planning Assistance Grant Program is accepting applications June 2 through August 1. The program is open to jurisdictions and the nine federally recognized Tribal governments pursuing the following work:
- Housing planning, including housing capacity analysis, housing production strategy, and implementation of actions that facilitate housing production, affordability, and choice;
- Development code updates to comply with housing laws, address permitting and land use barriers to housing production and facilitate housing production, affordability, and choice;
- Urbanization planning, such as public facility planning, urban reserves, land exchanges, and urban growth boundaries; and
- Efforts that support Tribal housing planning efforts.
On May 22, the Oregon Department of Land Conservation and Development’s (DLCD) Housing Division is hosting a webinar to provide an overview of the grant application process to support a wide range of local housing planning efforts.
