New On-Demand LOC Leadership Training Now Available
The LOC is excited to announce the availability of “Courageous Leadership in Critical Times,” a new on-demand training workshop designed to help municipal leaders navigate today's complex and rapidly changing world. This training will give city officials the tools and knowledge needed to lead effectively, even in tough situations.
The workshop includes four key sessions:
- Part 1: Leading by Example: Learn how to set boundaries, lead with vulnerability, and handle difficult conversations with confidence.
- Part 2: Organizational Leadership: Understand how to navigate power dynamics and make decisions that align with both your organization and elected officials.
- Part 3: Building Coalitions: Discover how to work with a diverse group of people, even when you don’t always agree.
- Part 4: Maintaining Your Values in a Changing World: Gain practical tools for staying true to your values when external pressures, such as political or financial demands, challenge your organization’s mission.
This workshop is designed to help cities build stronger teams, lead through challenges, and stay grounded in your core values.
