Mark Your Calendars! NWWLA Nominations Open July 1
The Northwest Women’s Leadership Academy (NWWLA) will be accepting nominations for its 2025/26 cohort beginning July 1 and continuing through August 1.
The academy is an eight-month professional development cohort that provides emerging local government leaders in Oregon with opportunities to enhance skills and competencies, build confidence, network, and expand professional connections through career mentoring and moral support. The purpose of the NWWLA is to advance women from a variety of backgrounds in local government with the goal of promoting more women into leadership roles.
Any local government employee who works in Oregon and identifies as a woman is welcome to be nominated. Visit our website to learn more and submit your nomination: https://occma.org/nwwla
To apply, prospective participants must either be nominated by their city/county manager or supervisor or self-nominate.
We’re unable to accept more than two nominees from each jurisdiction. We ask nominators to coordinate internally with their organization prior to submitting nominations.
