State Energy Strategy Survey Due April 21

Help influence Oregon’s State Energy Strategy by filling out this short survey by April 21. The Oregon Department of Energy (ODOE) is leading the development of the state’s strategy that aims to identify potential pathways toward achieving Oregon’s energy and climate policy objectives. It’s vital that the ODOE hears diverse perspectives from cities as they develop a strategy that reflects the needs and unique challenges that denote the diversity and geographical differences of Oregon communities.

The ODOE held a meeting on the strategy in November and received some initial feedback about priorities and preferences. From that meeting, they had a few follow-up questions to gather more input to help design their process – including public engagement – for developing the strategy.

You can watch that recording here for more background.

If you wish to weigh in, please take the survey by April 21.

Follow the Energy Strategy process on ODOE’s website, and consider signing up for email updates to receive information and opportunities to weigh in. Additionally, you can contact their team directly at: energy.strategy@energy.oregon.gov.
