CIS Annual Conference Returns Feb. 25–27, 2026
Each year, CIS brings together Oregon cities for three days of learning, networking, and collaboration. Whether you’re a first-time attendee or a familiar face, this event is designed to help you connect with peers, explore new ideas, and take home practical tools for your team.
Now in its 24th year, the conference focuses on what matters most to city government — relevant content, meaningful connections, and strategies that strengthen local operations and services across Oregon. Sessions cover employee benefits, risk management, pre-loss strategies, HR, legal updates, and emerging risks.
Affordable Registration Designed for Cities
CIS keeps rates intentionally low so cities of all sizes can participate. The full three-day member rate is just $200 with early bird pricing (or $250 after Jan. 16). That includes all meals during the event — a rare value compared with most multi-day conferences.
Flexible Attendance Options
Attend in person in Salem, online, or a mix of both. For example, you can join the Public Safety or Small Members Track on Wednesday in person and participate virtually for the rest. All registrants get on-demand access to every session through the Attendee Hub within an hour of presentation.
SPECIALIZED WEDNESDAY TRACKS
Small Members Track
Designed for smaller cities where budgets and staffing are tight, this track focuses on strengthening foundational knowledge across CIS programs and services, including safety, HR, claims, cybersecurity, and benefits.
Public Safety Track
Built for city and county public safety professionals, this track covers risk reduction, leadership, health and wellness, critical incident response, and legal essentials.
Both Wednesday tracks — Feb. 25 — include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, along with full virtual and on-demand access.
Register Now and Save
