Empowering Women in Elected Leadership: Survey Seeks Strategies for Overcoming Challenges and Fostering Connection

The League of Oregon Cities (LOC) Women's Caucus and The Center for Women's Leadership (CWL) are excited to partner on a leadership development session at the 2024 LOC Spring Conference.

The session will take place on Thursday, April 25 from 2-3 p.m. Attendees, panelists and facilitators will consider strategies for addressing the isolation, tokenizing, and disconnection experienced by women in elected leadership.  They will also be supported in reflecting on their own leadership stories and discussing methods for addressing the gender-based challenges they experience in their roles.

Women in elected leadership are invited to participate in co-creation of this session by completing a short survey (see link below).  Information collected here will remain anonymous and act as a catalyst for session facilitators to design a unique session for attendees.

Please reach out with questions to Center for Women's Leadership Co-Director Jessica Mole Heilman at jmole@pdx.edu
