Final Ways and Means Roadshow Stop is Friday, April 28 in Ontario
The Legislature’s Joint Ways and Means Committee is hosting a series of public hearings across the state to hear from Oregonians on their priorities for spending in the state budget.
Registration to testify during at the hearing will be published on the committee's website on OLIS. Ways and Means is the legislative appropriations committee that determines how to allocate the state’s budget. Be sure to register early to get in the queue to provide input - testimony is called in the order signed up.
The LOC’s advocacy team has prepared a budget document to review when preparing your comments for the Ways and Means hearings. These are budget priorities based on the top eight priorities that were selected by LOC members and endorsed by the board in 2022. The LOC strongly encourages members to participate in these hearings.
